Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

The author is obliged to conduct registration on the system before submitting the manuscript. The topic
which suitable to this journal is still in the scope of community health and preventive medicine.
Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the online
Manuscript Tracking System. Regardless of the source of the word-processing tool, only
electronic PDF (.pdf) or Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf) files can be submitted through the MTS. We only
receive a manuscript written in English.
Despite our twice-a-year publication schedule, manuscript submission is open all the time.
Accepted papers may be published in the nearest issue to our publication schedule. Only online
submissions are accepted to facilitate rapid publication and minimize administrative costs.
Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted. The submitting
author takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review. By submitting
manuscripts to our journal, the authors have declared that the manuscript has not been
submitted nor published in other journals at the same time.

ORIGINAL RESEARCH

Manuscript Format
The manuscript should be arranged straightforward and clear. The maximum length of this
paper should be 10 pages and to be written in English with good grammatical writing. The page
does not need to have page numbering. The manuscript should be written using Microsoft
Office Word (*.doc or *.docx) single-spaced in A4 size letter (210 mm x 297 mm) with top and
bottom margins 2.5 cm, left margin 3 cm and right margins 2.5 cm. Use Times New Roman 11
pt for the entire script. The text layout should be written using one column. The manuscript
should be presented in several sections, starting from Introduction, Method, Analysis,
Conclusion and References. The introduction consists of Background, Problems, and Previous
research.
 
Manuscript Title
The title of the paper is written brief with no more than 15 words and can represent the whole of the
paper. It is written in capital letters.
 
Authors
The name of the main author and member lists should be written in full name with the affiliation
of each author.
 
Abstract

This section is written in English containing a summary of the paper, containing a research
description without reference. The abstract should consist of a single paragraph containing no
more than 150 words using Times New Roman 10 pt, justified and italic.
 
Keywords
Keywords must contain around 3 – 5 words. Keywords should refer to the research object, root
of the problem, and method.

Section
Sections of the manuscript including framework, research methodology, collecting data,
processing data, and results. The section is written corresponding to the section number.  The
maximum level of the section is 3 levels, such as 2.1.1. Section and section number should be
written using Times New Roman 11 pt bold, justified, title case mode. To separate one section
from another, please add 1 spaceline.
 
Paragraph
The paragraph should be started with 1 cm spacing for the first line and should be given 1 space line
each paragraph.
 
Tables dan Figures
Tables and figures presented in the center of the script. Tables and figures should fit the
columns. If it does not fit the columns, tables and figures should be placed on the top or bottom of
the page. Tables are numbered in the order in which they are referenced. They should appear
in the document in numerical order and as close as possible to their first reference in the text. It
is preferable to have tables title appear at the top center of the table. Please use Times New
Roman 10 pt. The number and titles of figures should be located below, between the number
and title of the table and figures should be given 1 space bar. If the title is too long, then the length
should fit the table or figures.
 
Equation/Preposition
Equation/preposition may be written using Microsoft Equation. Every equation/preposition
must be numbered and located on the right side as shown in equation 1.

Algorithm and Program
The algorithm or coding should be written in the textbox and presented in a picture. Algorithm and coding
should be written using Courier New 9 pt with top, left, bottom, and right margin 0.1 cm.
 
Conclusion
This section contains the conclusion of the paper that answers the problem of the research. It
contains the result value of data processing that led to analysis.
 
Reference
The content of the manuscript should be corresponding to references mention at the end of this
paper. The references should mention the name of the writer and year of publication followed by
the number of references.  For Example: ...[1].  References of the table should be placed under the
table on the left side. References for figures should be placed under the figure title on the left side.
Reference should be written in Vancouver style without section number. Every reference should
be written in the reference section due to the order of each reference in this paper. (For more

SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Systematic reviews, whether qualitative or quantitative (i.e., meta-analyses) should conform to the same guidelines outlined above for Original Research.

Word count: 3000-4000 words or fewer
Structured abstract: typically 150-200 words in length. We will allow up to 400 words additional length reflects adherence to recommended elements from reporting guidelines (e.g., PRISMA)    
Tables/Figs: up to 5
Detailed search strategies and other supplementary materials will be considered for inclusion as online-only appendices.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's
compliance with all of the following items and submissions may be returned to authors that do
not adhere to these guidelines.
1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for
consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file
format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining
(except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the
text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author
Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
